Does anyone know how to remove the rear license plate panel on a 1963 Belair four-door. The hardware holding the old one on looks like a flat head screwdriver tip does anyone have any idea how I can get the old one off any help would be appreciated thank you

You pry these clips apart starting with a screwdriver.

The ones in the link below are how they look before they are installed.

to reinstall the alumiunum panel you need/must have these squeeze together clips for all the mounting holes -push against the holes with a pliers and sqeeze so the small arms on the clips hit the holes in the bumper and bumper brace. (note how they look before and after when you remove the ones on your car)

pry the flat sections apart -by driving a screw driver between the flat sections on clip on one or two of them - on your car "were you can see both sides of the clips before you remove it" -to show how they go on and off...
-once one or more are removed the clip will look like the single one "in the picture link of new clips"
