My Son has a 1969 Camaro with glasspacks. Hes wanting to change to some
Magnaflow mufflers that have a deep tone. His car is pretty loud with the 355 and glasspacks. He just want a deep rumble sound. I just thought I would ask on here what others are using. Magnaflow has so many different ones he doesn't know which ones to get.

Sounds are so subjective but listen to the various manufacture sites. How long are his glass packs?
To me--rumble comes from high compression, cam mostly and/or retarded timing. Ford 302 with 2-1/2 in a 30 of mine is loud but not a mean sound. 62 Vette with mid roller cam 400 loud but no rumble. Same 2 1/2 turbos on both.

If you have a local cruise or a big classic car show you can listen and also talk to the owners. My 65 Chevelle had a 427-425. After a lot of looking and talking to other owners I put hooker aero chambers mufflers on and I really liked them. Of course, with all things its a matter of what sounds right to your ear.

I'm originally from the ONCE great city of Flint, Michigan. The birthplace of General Motors, where A C Spark Plug was formed and headquartered, where the first Corvettes were hand built, and where my 1955 Chevy was made.

Try to call rickscamaros. They carry Magnaflow products and can give you some nice recommendations.
