I just bought a 2001 Chevy P3500 class C motor home. I drove it 145 miles home. no problem. I changed oil Friday and when I started it, the lite came on. there are only wires to the front brakes. and I can see no mouse damage. this MH only has 45 thou. on the clock, and I can just see the pads, there is a lot there. the ABS fuse is good.
so 3 ?s. what might have cause this, can the lite be turned off [like check engine lite gets turned off] and what happens if I just go ahead and drive it?
thanks Rod in AZ

Probably going to need someone scan it. Could be a defective wheel sensor or it could be in the ABS module itself. If they have the better scanner, they could do an ABS bleed for you. Best guess is that it won't cause a problem, you just won't have ABS. Here in NY, it will pass state inspection with the light on.

Check the battery terminals. MAke sure they are clean and tight.
Get the code pulled, should explain it all.
