On my daughter's 2003 Cavalier the radio clock will set it self back to 12:00 as if the power supply was off. I/she will set the correct time and a few days or a week later when she starts it the clock will be back to 12:00. She did say that twice the car died in the past few months but started right back up. No other issues I noticed or she has mentioned.

Don't know if the 2 problems are related but any idea on what to look at?

Battery connections.
I cannot stress that enough.
I imagine it is side terminal.
Remove the terminal bolts, inspect the terminals.
Reinstall
