I have a truck that I am keeping original. It has the Huck brakes in pretty good shape. Stopping power is not up to the needs of today. I have installed a dual master cylinder which is working fine, but doesn't really improve the stopping capability What are the options to keep the original wheels and significantly improve stopping capability?

I would suggest a minimum of front disk brakes. There are some reasonably priced bolt up kits out there.

I agree with Mick, I know you said you wanted to keep it stock, but times, driving conditions have changed I put disc's on my 51 don't regret it for a minute. Big help.

I'm running centerline wheels on mine and was before I put the disc on. So never tryed it.

Yes depending on what kit you buy. I have to run 17" wheels minimum but I'm running 13" disk.
