The door side of each bucket seat spring section gives in a lot easier than the console side. Understandable being it's the edge used more often. How do you go about making those sides less springy or soft short of buying new spring bases...

GM had same problem. Their solution was to redesign seats for '66. I put extra springs in a seat I redid a few years ago. Also the '65 buckets can be swapped from side to side. I had one car that had nice seat on passenger side so I found another passenger seat and installed it on driver side after changing the tracks.

Now that's an idea I hadn't thought of changing the seats on the frames. I will also look into to that, thanks...
