70 Chevelles came with Muncie transmissions. Did the LS5 and LS6 cars come with Muncie or Hurst shift linkage?

Neither. The shifters were made by Inland. The handles were stamped "MUNCIE" on a car equipped with a Muncie trans, and were unstamped on the cars equipped with a Saginaw trans. No factory Hurst shifters in a Chevy product except for the 69 Camaros.

Hey Donny,

I knew you were a "B" body expert, but looks like your overall Chevy knowledge is quite impressive! Thanks.
