I'm looking at trying to come over for CFAC this year, as ya'll know, from Hawaii I hafta plan this out a bit in advance....
Any suggestions as where to stay, and what days to be there? In the past there have been other activities with you guys that I've thoroughly enjoyed !
Any ideas?
Aloha from Maui,

If we get some folks going I could get excited about a get together on Friday and staying over.
Who what when where I don't have a clue. Mel

We have stayed at the host hotel, Ayers. Really nice place and close to the show. Sorry but I don't remember if they have a shuttle, I took our car early then picked my wife up later.
Hotel is also fairly close to JW airport.

Im still thinking about it, it's a big trip for me, from Maui to come over, but it's always been worth it every time !!
I'm working on what might be my final project, at age 77, a pretty huge rebuild of a '55 hardtop, Z28 under the hood, pulling wires right now but will be adding AC and a bluetooth stereo system, and want to do some mainland travel with it, like the hot rod tour, the 'trifive' run, and maybe even route 66, then leave it with one of my sons up in OR and WA. I need to live to be 100 !!

I am going to take my form in tomorrow. Tony, can you check with Ross to make sure we still get the corner? I will take the
EZ up and misc items on Friday. The Ayers is close, check the CFAC web site for deals. Rodger, either of you buddies thinking about coming? I will get in touch with some other guys to see what they have going on. George is always there and would be good to see TooLoose again.

Maybe I can bring a "Hawaiian ChevyTalk" flag to plant on some corner...

Checkin for room space, will post....

Pullin wires, adding elec. wipers, modern AC, modern bluetooth radio that looks original...

Hope I have the energy to finish it....

Good news...I got my package in the mail last week.

Not so Good News...We Lost Our Lease.

News...We will not be admitted Friday night this year & we will have a new address. ChevyTalk Corner has been Re Zoned as commercial/vendor use. If we want to park together, we need to enter together. I am bringing the tents, flags and usual stuff with me. I am willing to meet with others as early as needed so we can survey a new home to mark the Twentieth Show together. Let me hear from you so we can plan to meet Saturday morning before we enter. Hope to see you there this year is going to be the biggest and best so far. So get your rear end ready and I will talk to you soon.

Wow Steve, sorry I'm going to miss it this year. Scheduled for surgery the 26th. Tim and Paul are not going to be able to make it this year either. Find us a good new home and we'll be there next year for sure!

Will do Buddy Boy. Praying your procedure goes well and you're back up and at 'em soon. Fear Ye Not, He Will Feed You. Maybe I can squeeze in the Burger Run with you.
