I am researching my Nomad and the original owner was heavily involved in the National Nomad Club of the 70s and 80s. I am hoping some of his friends are on this page. If you know Phil (Nathanial) Watterson. would you respond. Phil had a Larkspur blue with India ivory top Factory Fuel Injected Nomad. at some point in the 70's he painted it Black. He and his wife Bert, would race it around the San Diego area.

I'd imagine all those Nomad'ers are in transit home from Omaha, Nebraska.
You might check back in a couple days.

I take it you didn't attend?

I haven’t been to any of the Nomad conventions in about ten years.

I also am interested in this topic, and apparently missed a Nomad meeting in Omaha! Bummer!
I am currently rebuilding a '57 Nomad that came from Grand Island, NE. It (was) Adobe Beige, and was owned by a school principal in GI for years. I know some of the cars history, but not a lot. While the car has been out of sight for some 20 years, a previous owner had collected a large box of Nomad magazines and Tech Help articles.

I have that Nomad News issue somewhere in storage. I was an old NNC member from '72 to '82. My Club Number was #998. But as familiar as he sounds, I did not know Phil.
