I've been searching... no luck yet.

My 59 Impala Coupe and 60 Flattop Bel Air SS have the OEM Chevy mirrors mounted on the doors.
Which have flat mirrors in them with pretty much no field of view.

Does anyone know of a round convex mirror (like modern day passenger side) available anywhere that would fit nicely in the OEM housing and give me a better field of view?

Just the mirror/glass needs to be I believe 4 1/4" diameter... Then I could just silicone it on.

I bought a 5" on Amazon which turns out to be 4 1/2" glass only... so it doesn't quite fit inside the recess.

I know the factory didn't put passenger mirrors on (I think) but mine were already installed by the previous owners... and they're pretty much useless for the driver.

I looked for the largest trucker spot mirror I could find at heavy truck parts places, the stick on kind.

I’ve been looking for the same thing for a couple years. All convex mirrors I could find are either too big or too small. I had to settle for a 3-3/4” stick-on.

If you do find a better fit, pleas post info here.

Note that repo mirror is listed as for 55-57. I bought one of those from a swap meet vendor, cuz it looked like I could make it work. No, base is different size, and screw holes into door are different. Looked at trying to remove the mirror head to put it on my base. No, different kind of attachment.

I still have that 55-57 reproduction convex mirror if someone wants it for cost of shipping.

I ended up doing a McGyver job on the project until I can find a real solution.
The one pic shows (Yellow arrows) where I cut the whole center out of the back of the $17 Amazon mirror with a dremel cutting wheel.
I left a lip on it (Red arrow) and it fits almost perfectly inside the stock mirror.

Looks like something that belongs on a boat.

But the mirror is actually useful now... and I can remove it fairly easily since I used silicon adhesive.

Drivers side is still stock... which is fine for now.

Oops, my bad Jay. I sometimes forget which forum I'm on.
