I installed a new Chevy 350 in my 1954 3100 with a new mustang 2 front rack. I install hugger headers and now I see there's no room for the rug joint to connect and not hit headers. Is there an other set of headers that someone has used that work ?Any other ideas ?

Rack and pinion setups don’t typically use a rag joint. They use u-joints and shafts. If more than 2 joints are used, you need to add a support bearing and bracket. You can pretty much go around almost any obstacles using them.
