The new LV3 4.3 is a whole new design. All kinds of modern stuff. For an old style 4.3, it has to be '14 and older. I would like a 4.3 too. Car engines don't survive in SUVs. The 3.6 is chain driven I think.

Wow! I read the 3.6 has several versions. Even some that would burn a quart of oil every 2000 miles! Ouch! VVT, direct injection, and overhead cams eventually all have trouble. Some even had dual turbo chargers. Wow! Small engine to dual turbo. I would avoid that engine like the plague. We'll see. Give it 2-3 model years to work out kinks, I wouldn't consider one until 2025.
