Hi Guys

My 57 sedan is fitted with R & P (forgot the brand) and a SBC. One of the issues I have is the motor sits too high due to the stock oil pan almost touching the R & P crossmember. This in turn is restricting the size of air filter (383 needs more air !) and not great for handling either.

Does anybody make a stepped oil pan to suit ? Tried Moroso with no luck.

The doors open, but the ride it aint free.

I installed an R&P from CCP in my '57 many years ago. I never had problems with oil pan clearance with the small block. They did mention pan clearance issues with a BBC.
Can you relocate the rack or clearance the bracket a bit?
