I finally got back to my 57 frame today and installed new tubular upper and lower A-arms and then installed the 2 inch drop spindles with disc brakes integrated into the casting. When I went to turn the spindles left and right I found that they wouldn't move much past straight ahead. What have I done wrong? I'm doing all of this on a newly painted frame with no body or engine. Will this issue resolve itself when weight is on the front end and the angle of the A-arms change when under load? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm perplexed and am wondering if I screwed something up.

It’s been awhile since installing 2 drop spindles disc brake on my 56. My hunch, you have cotter pins on castle nuts top and bottom right? Pull the cotter pins and back off the castle nuts, should get you the movement back. Hope this helps.

See if the lower ball joint/or control arm is binding against the spindle, this is happening with a CE set up in my friends 54 when the wheels are hanging.
