So new here and I am trying to restore a 77 camaro lt that i recently picked up. Now for the fun part it has the 305 in it and i was told she was original but the vin when i called the dealership was for a 425 horse 396. I am having a lot of difficulty finding anything on it Anyone with any info or tips on where one could look would be greatly appreciated.

Your 77 Camaro did not come stock with a 396. If I had to guess there were probably three motors optional, a V6, a 305, and a 350. 1/hmn...
