How hard is it to change out the speedometer cable in a 1966 biscayne?

My car has a tko600 transmission in it and I am pretty sure it has an adapter that is allowing it to run the original cable (from my knowledge its original.

Also, what is the process of lubricating a speedo cable?

Thank you!

Jeff

The hardest part is getting your hand up behind the dash to disconnect the cable from the speedometer. The rest is straight forward.

I was surprisingly able to get my hand up there and loosen the current cable off! Hopefully I can get the new one on just as easy!
