Need detent bracket for my 57. My car has stock steering column for the cast iron Powerglide but my transmission was changed out to a 2 speed aluminum powerglide. So which bracket do I need? Thanks

The detent bracket only holds it in park and park is in the same place. Why would it be different? ..... http://www.trifive.com/garage/57%20Chevy%20A ssembl...

I was told that it needed one for a turbo 350 transmission and just wanted to make sure before purchasing one. Thanks

The 350 has another gear so it has to move farther. You can modify the 1st gear stop.

So I just need another original bracket and it doesn’t need any modifications? I was going to order the one for the turbo 350 but it sounds like that would’ve been a mistake
