What are you guys doing for a reliable LT-1 distributor these days? I am on my second one from the parts store.

Been a while, but a few years back the "go to" deal was a new one from a Chevy dealer.

Also, if you have a 92-94 model, consider doing what it takes to go with a "vented" opti unit, which came on 95-97 models. Takes a couple of mods to install, but the vent setup evacuates the corrosive gases inside cap/rotor area and increases life.

The auto supply ones have a reputation for being junk.

The other thing to consider if you're changing the opti is to change the water pump too. Cause if you don't and it leaks out the weep hole or the shaft drive seal - it takes out your new opti.
