Hi guys

Got a 3837109 intake on it's way and an Edelbrock 500 sat on the shelf, both of which are going on my 265. I just need to know which adapter to order to mate them together. There seems to be several and wanted to order the best one.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

If you are going to use the clone, get a cheap aftermarket intake that has the correct base footprint for the clone.

Any adapter used with the clone will perform WORSE than the original carb.

Give the clone a chance by using a manifold which matches the clone.


Good carburetion is fuelish hot air!

The most expensive carburetor you will ever the incorrect one you attempt to modify!

If you truly believe "one size fits all", trying walking a mile in your spouse's shoes!

Arti.....You need an adapter that will go from a small square bore manifold to a larger square bore carburetor....Here is a link:
