Does anyone know where I can get this brass block and hollow bolt That is used on 51-54 cars for the REAR WHEEL brake cylinder?
Mine leaks and is damaged beyond use.

It's called a banjo bolt. They should be pretty universal. If you do some shopping around and measure your bolt thread size you should be able to find them pretty cheap. I'm sorry I can't give you an easy link to a set.

That block is for the master cylinder, which is different from the block used on 51-54 rear wheel cylinders.

My mistake....the only other one that chev's shows is for up to 1950 with a 1/4" brake line...is the 1951 different?

May be urban legend, but I've been told the 51 thru 58 brakes are the same, may give you options on block and bolt. Just a thought.

Yes, it's different. The 51-54 cars used 3/16 brake line.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, I do have an option--------------which I do not want to go with, unless I cannot locate a block and bolt.
I can switch the rear wheel cylinders to 55-57 style.

So sad, but true. I also have a '58 and the massive 2" wide brake shoes (including Corvettes) and related hardware are the same since '51.

This does not give dimensions...you may have to contact the firm to find out for sure...but I know that many of the car and light truck brake components are interchangeable and this does list as 1951-1955.

There are two of them on this 52 rear-end leaning against my front porch, if you need them, you can have them.
