Hmm,... The forum is "The Nomads", without any restriction on year. It is likely under the 55-57 umbrella since the original Nomads share commonality to the 55-57. Just like the '58+ years share commonality. Consider the el Camino. 59-60 share commonality to the full size passenger cars and 64+ share the GM midsize platform. Little value in having a single el Camino category. Consider suggesting the creating of a "58-60 Nomads & Wagons" subcategory. I suggested creating a G-body Malibu section which was acted upon. The reason being the above share NO commonality to the 64-77 Chevelle. Users were also posting in 77+ full size passenger car section too. The Malibu subcategory ended up with little to no participation.
I suspect a "58-60 Nomads, Wagons,& Sedan Delivery" subcategory would garner reasonable participation. It is time for you to step up and carry the torch and suggest it to the Administration as well as promoting it with the opening post.

The 58 Nomad was not a body style but a trim level of the 1958 station wagon.

Yes, a sedan platform, not a hard top platform.

I would say because it is in the '55-'57 forum category.
There could be a Nomad forum of it's own, '55 to '61, but it would probably get very little traffic.
That said, the '58 to '61 Nomads are very welcome and well covered in the '58-'60 forum and the '61-'64 Full Size forum.
By the way, my first car was a '58 Nomad.
