I have brand new tires (BF Goodrich Radial TAs)255-60R15's. Am ordering wheels for (superlite minilites to mimic Sunoco Trans Am cars for street driving.

Will 15 X 7's with 4-1/2" BS work front and rear?

Thanks for any advice.

I have P245 60 15 on stock 15 rims on my Z. I believe they are 7in not sure. These tires rub in a full on turn so I'm careful not to go to the bump stop.

If your rims are original to the Z, they are 7" with 4.25" backspacing. Do they rub the inner fenders or at the fender opening?

A great source of information is www.camaros.org

That site has an immense store of information on First Gen Camaros.

I've ordered 15 X 7 with 4.5" backspacing. I know that'll work at the rear, will have to see if the front will need a shorter tire.

Boy. I haven't had the car out in a long time and have avoided the rubbing. The car also was lowered by approx 1in when I got it but I brought it back to stock height and the lowering may have been the problem. I'm sorry about the ify info but the car hasn't been on the road in about 3 yrs.
