My 69 has big block power now with a Carter mech.fuel pump that has a return.I installed a sending unit that has provisions for a return line (extra barb on top). But every time I fuel up pressure gushes out when I remove the cap.I am using a vented fuel cap for a 70 Chevelle, but still...………..what cap do I need?

Maybe the vents on the gas cap are clogged. I had a similar situation and just drilled the holes larger (off the car, of course). Now my garage smells better.
