Greetings All: Question Please. Whenever I speak with folks about Corvettes and mention the 1984 year, folks say it’s
Not worth much. Why is that & is it true??
I have a beautiful 1984 that came from a private collection
That has 15,000 original miles. Everything works perfectly
And it’s a great car. Keep being told it’s not worth very much?
Cars mint condition, strong running 350 with
Crossfire injection and overdrive Automatic trans.
Beautiful Red in color with glass tinted top. Perfect interior, etc. Again, Why is car not worth very much according to some folks?
Looking to sell but I’ll not give it away either.
Thanks and I look forward to your replies.👍

They were only made for 2 production years, found this good article that explains the engine well. https://oldcarmemories.com/1982-1984-l83-5-7-lit er-cross-fire-injection-v 8-love-it-or-hate-it/

They were reputed to ride very harsh.

I can't deny or confirm this,I had an '85 and liked it very much.

Two decades plus from a mag writer source I trusted wrote that the 84 base spring was stiffer than the stiffest 85 spring.

VARIOUS SPRING RATES WERE USED ON THE C4'S ACCORDING TO THE SUSPENSION ORDERED OR WHAT CAME STOCK.MY 85 LOOKED LIKE IT WAS GETTING BOOTED IN THE A$$.
THE 90 SAT A LITTLE LOWER PROABLY BECAUSE THE TIRE SIDEWALL WAS LOWER.MY 93 IS LOWER EQUALLY FRONT TO REAR. ACORDING TO MY BUILD SHEET IT HAS THE "SOFT SUSPENSION" OPTION BUT IT DOESN'T FEEL SOFT,DIFFERENT FACTORY SHOCKS,SWAY BARS ETC WERE ALSO OFFERED THEN WIDER REAR RIMS TO IMPROVE STEERING TRACKING.
