Were the tri five spare tire tubs the same size? I have a ‘57 that has non stock 15’s on it and I would like to have a 15” spare. What size was the factory 15 and will it fit in the ‘57 carrier? What is max 15 that will fit? Thanks!

Larry

57's came with 14" tires, but the 55 and 56 had 15" and all the tubs should be the same size. Modern day equivalent is 205-75-14 (or 15) - on a 5" wide wheel. Same tire on a 7" wheel will not fit in the hole.
