I've been slowing working on a 63/64 Chevy C10 for a few years (resto-mod). Finally got the body to primer and now, I'm starting to consider tires.

I saw a meme of a 70's/80's RV with oversized tires; like HMMWV (or Humvee®) sized tires (37x12.50R16.5)... the more I look at it the more I think it would look awesome on my truck.

The time is pretty good because I need to rebuild/mod the suspension. I'm thinking of upgrading the suspension to 3/4 ton (a friend has an extra set he pulled off a truck) but I'm wondering if an aftermarket would be better.

taller tires will make your brakes weaker. 3/4 suspension will make the ride stiffer.

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.
