Looking for a '53-'54 Corvette 235 exhaust manifold.
Somebody's got to have one they're never going to use. I promise to put it to good use!

Doug does the stock Vett have any dividers inside or other --tricks-- that make it better than just adding the second outlet to a standard single outlet? Most Vett ones were 1,500 plus last time I looked for my 57 235.

Yes, there is a difference. On Vette manifold cylinders 1, 2, and 3 feed into what would be the center of a regular 235 manifold (where it contains the heat riser flap and bolts up to the bottom of the intake manifold). Cylinders 4,5,and 6 feed into their own down tube. There is no opening between these two sections.

As for prices, in the past 6 months or so I've seen them go for $800 to $1100, so $1500 seems a bit high. If you were doing an NCRS car and absolutely needed the manifold and don't want to wait for another better snag it. Although, I would still ask the individual to come down on the price.

Shipping, UPS ground across county will be about $60.00 and take about a week.

Currently being test fitted under a Thickstun intake on a "848" head.

Rochester BC carbs are not bolted down yet. Studs coming up from the bottom of the exhaust manifold are about 5/16" too long as they won't allow the accelerator linkage rod to be installed on the back of the intake.

Thanks for the info and pics as I learned a bunch. I even did a search on Thickstun as I don't think I have ever even heard of them. Owner died in 1946!!!

There's almost always one of these exhaust manifolds for sale on that auction site we all know and love; same with intake manifolds and carburetors. It's just a matter of, "how much do you want to spend?". I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
