Hello
I need to pick some minds regarding headers for my 64 C-10.
I recently picked up a 64 that had a straight six , not original to the truck. I pulled it and put in a small block 350. My truck sits very low so I’m looking to see if anyone can tell me what shorty headers they may have used on there V8 swaps in theses trucks. Any help would be appreciated.

Slammed,

My son has a '66 Chevy 1/2 ton. A buddy of mine gave my son a set of block hugger headers that my buddy took off his sbc powered '32 Ford roadster. I made an "H" exhaust pipe for my son that clears everything on his '66 nicely. If you give me your email address I'll send you a photo.

The challenge was squeezing the pipes between the frame/suspension and the oil filter on one side and the starter on the other side.

I learned exhaust fabrication in the summer of 1967 when I was a college kid and a summer job tig welding at Doug's Headers in Los Angeles. Doug's must be doing something right because they are still in business.

I know some use chevelle headers 3/4 length. I believe this is with an automatic trans. Don't take my word for it.
