I have many questions about my very first vehicle, a 1975 Chevy Nova custom, 4-door, 2 barrel-carburetor. Someone with knowledge in Classic muscle cars like mine would be absolutely amazing. Anyone willing to give me advice on how to take care of my car? I plan on keeping it for a long time and cannot wait to make it brand new again. I have at least 5 issues to discuss to get her closer to being finished. Engine dies when I hit on the brake or as I am turning. It is like it is flooding, the fuel and air mixtures might need adjusted.

Welcome to CT. Stalling around turns is usually a carb issue, at that age it should be rebuilt. Btw, due respect, but that car is not classified as a muscle ca.

the carb has been rebuilt keep having to adjust the fuel and air mixtures, think that is why it keeps dying. Possible vacuum line issues too idk. What is it classified as ?
