5 years ago, I would have been all over this, even though I had a 57 Olds, Complete rear end , with both a 4,88 and 5.38 Positraction 3rd members, and Summers Brother's axles, (Eaton style, NOT the Dana style that were weaker), and already with the spring pads moved. But, I sold everything, thinking I'd never use it! C'est la vive, as they say. Should have kept it, but I did't have the room! Sold it all at a loss, but that's how this car deal goes, right? TONY, this is ONLY an ad, he's never posted ANYTHING to Chevy Talk; I say delete him, and his ad, that's NOT what Chevy Talk is all about. JMO! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Butch I have been away too long so school me on this type of ad. I did not mean to respond to something that went against any rules but it just slid through my brain as a Ford rear end for a 55-57 Chevrolet in the 55-57 section. Thanks Mel
Truthfully I did not go over the rules I just --reupped-- and started typing.

YOU did't place the ad. There are rules, but no one here gets too bent out of shape if they're not followed to the letter. Some guys come here ONLY for placing their ads; that's a little different. Tony would take care of things if it was too "out-of-bounds". I only responded to showcase my own stupidity at times! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
