Looking for anyone who would know where to find a carpet ring, flexible plastic color coded to match the carpet. boot was screwed to the floor with a metal ring, the carpet ring was held in place by the carpet, and hid the boot and ring.Used on bench seat cars.

The ring was 5 inches wide and about 7 inches long,
more rectangular.
Thank You,

I wish you luck with your search. Certainly looking for hens teeth. No one repros it. A few show it in their catalogs but they are Nova ones. Wrong size and shape. Boot is just as tough an item too unfortunately.

Hope you have success!

That looks great, Do you think that company is still around? I would order one from them.
Thanks.

looks like the '64-65 Nova ring. Same as I used in my '66 Biscayne. Actually fits very well. All but the most knowlegable (like Donny!) will not know the difference.

Yes 65-67 I believe. Again, not exact. Most of the Nova Parts suppliers should stock it I think.

Yep, that is the 65-7 Nova Bench seat one. Is the boot NOS Ken? It looks like it.

I saw those, that may work, they are hard plastic ,and black, I could recolor but they are still very hard. A friend and I are going to try and 3d make one, with a flexible product, and a close to or the correct color.

Thank You.

Has anyone tried to 3d print this, and then paint it to match? Should be an easy win.

I just bought a 66 impala. It has a 4 speed with a bench seat. Just wondering if this is the correct ring for it?

That looks 100% correct to me, so does the boot and the shifter ball. I can't see the handle to see if it has the correct bend in it.

68cst, would you be able take some detailed pictures of the shifter, boot and hump from a bunch of different angles?

I so wish someone would reproduce that 65-66 boot already.

Yes I can post more pics of any part you want to see. I will probably start a new thread on this car. It has been sitting for a long time and I plan on getting it finished over the winter.
