Well after power washing the underside of the truck I pulled it into my shop and put it up on my lift. I discovered another surprise.
What the heck is this on the back of my TH400 besides dirty and greasy LOL ?
Is it an Overdrive unit?
I am familiar with Gear Vendors but this is not one of their units. There is a stamp DNF on one side.

Thanks, I have heard about Doug Nash transmissions but have never seen one or their OD unit before. I also can't find any info on it. I have yet to find any switch inside the vehicle.
I found one on Ebay just now and yep it looks exactly like the one on my tranny (well except for all the dirt...LOL!). Right now the priority is to get the brakes working correctly.https://www.ebay.com/itm/233119008523

Looks like all the wiring to the OD and the tranny have been disconnected and some of the wires cut. Let the fun begin!
