I'm looking for any info about registering a truck in Calif from out of state, Arizona or other states.

Has anyone had any experience doing this?

Thanks jktucker92

Not California, but I registered my 48 F-3 from Vermont in New Hampshire. Titles for cars or trucks over 10 years old are not necessary here but if the vehicle comes from another state without a title, NH requires an inspection of the VIN before a NH registration or title can be issued. I had to have a local policeman examine the VIN and sign a form saying the VIN matched the bill of sale VIN. Most states have similar laws. Don't know if it's the same in California or not.

I moved here from Wisconsin ten years ago. The dumbbell behind the counter at DMV
wasn't very communicative. You will need to smog it and WEIGH it before they will do anything for you. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment online. You will save hours of waiting. Even though, they move at the speed of glacial ice. Good Luck!
