im replace a bent valve on a 1996 chevy corsica with a 2.2l and was wondering if the the .005 head size makes a diffrence?ill attach a pic of the two valves that i can get and would the .005 smaller one work?

You should be good wifh .005 o/s, lap it in and see how it seats, possible the seat was damaged.

what i mean is the original valve is 1.457 like the mellings but all anyone sells is the other witch is 1.452 would it still seat being a little smaller
