I'm doing a little research and wonder if you could help me out.

What do you guys consider the hardest parts to get for your cars?

If you could "make" a part what would you make?

Happy with the help and support you got here?

Tony
Heres some that are near impossible to find, rear window regulators for 42 to 48 convertible.
rear window frames for the same.

side and rear body trim for the same.
original trunk tray for early (first half year) of same

front and rear door trim (wood grain) upper

I have never found these parts, some I had, still dont have a D/S rear win. regulator
Ive considered using a 55 win. regulator but the crank spindle is smaller.
Id make one if I could figure out which bones to start with!
Bru

Thanks!
Bru

Chrome base for Flying Lady ornament for the 42's and fog lights for same. Oops forgot the rarest of all 42 parts, the plastic coated inside handles.

That's a great price, and I almost bought it but something doesn't quit look right for a replacement on my car. The part where the square shaft from the handle is on the wrong side.
I may have the wrong latch, a lot could have happened in 73 years, but this one won't work with what I have.
Thanks anyway Ruscar, it was really close.

Parts book list 4129651 for 1940-1948 cars. Might contact the seller and check the number on that nos tag. Sure looks like the one on my '48.

Going through my parts today I found a latch. If you still need it, PM me and I can send pictures. I also found a trunk handle. Pitted by I think it can be re-chromed. No key though.
