I bought new rear fenders and side steps for my 1956 3100 and planned having a shop do the installation. I've now decided to save a little money and try doing the work by myself.
The fenders look straight forward but i'm not sure what tools I will need for removing and reattaching the side steps.
If anyone out there has done this project on their truck and can offer any advice I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks
DB

DB, it's a pretty straight forward job, they just bolt on the same as the fenders. I think there are 8 bolts all together, 2 in the front holding the step to the frame bracket, 3 across the back holding it to the fender and 3 across the side going to the bed side. The hardest part will be dealing with rusted hardware.
