I have a set of REAR seats that I was told were 55-57 however the "Hump" area on the bottom is smooth and gradual as opposed to the ones i have seen that have the upside down "U" shaped form. Could this seat then be for a 4 door car or am i mistaken?

The "hump" area is the same for 2 door and 4 door. It is a U shaped cutout as you describe.

The vertical seat cushion is the same for 2 door/4 door as long as they are sedans. The only difference between 2 door and 4 door seat bottoms is that the 2 door has a square corner at the ends and the 4 door is rounded there for easier passenger access.
