My job has taken me to Texas and southeastern New Mexico lately. While in Roswell, NM this week, I came across a two door Bel Air (Cameo Coral) that is fairly complete. The owner has had it over 20 years and has an overvalued opinion of its value. Neat car.

And just a mile or two up the road is a closed junk yard. I happened to catch an older gentleman there who let me lurk around. I found two four door Bel Airs and a well equipped Kingswood. The KW would be fun, except it was missing some critical parts (power tailgate, passenger doors, and the 348!).

I'm back out there in a couple of weeks and hope to return the junkyard, because I believe there are more 59s there!

Good luck hunting. I’d love to know if there’s a ‘59 El Camino lurking around.
