A few days a go, I had planned to attend the 1988 Classic Chevy Show and Drags.
I had "old chip" running and it ran well with a stock 350.
But the interior was in need of attention.
Back then the best place to go in my area was so and so.
So I did, I spent a large amount of money and sure enough it looked good enough to get second place in '56 custom and first place in '56 custom back then at the Classic Chevy Show and Drags in 1988 and 1989.
You could not wipe the smile from my face!
I was stunned!
Things change and I have mini tubbed my car, I decided to do my interior myself.
Saving me a few dollars
It looks kick ssa so far.
Amazing.

This part of the back seat is narrowed and fits the mini tubbs,
I hate to admit but this stuff is like building a model,
Play with it until you get it where you want it,
Take your time, mess with it,
Eventual you can do it,
Amazing

It looks really good to me.

I also did most of my own interior but I had an upholstery shop stitch my backseat to match my black leather buckets. - I didn't have mini tubs to negotiate though. I'm sure that was interesting.
The only thing that I didn't pull off correctly was the headliner. It's a little baggy in a couple of places -but I can live with it.

Looks great. I always love learning to do new things. Upholstery can have a steep learning curve.
