2011 Silverado radio quit when battery died. It was so dead that the locks wouldn't function.
New battery installed, no radio worky. Also the things that remain set when you turn off the key like cruise being off or on and the HVAC settings all start from scratch when you re-fire the truck. Any ideas?

Maybe anti theft protection on the radio
Acting like it was removed because of the total absence of power perhaps
