Hi.
Can anyone tell me where the hood hinge spring attaches to the hinge? A picture would be great or point me in the direction to find a picture or information. I'm not having much success finding anything.

Thanks!

On my'42 the spring attaches over the lower hinge arm close to the hood. I have picture of it ,but my computer and I are not getting along this morning.

Thanks.
Is there a notch or a hole or something that it hooks into?

My computer keeps locking up on me. If you have a manual the hood information will probably be toward the back of the book. It showed a spring with a long hook on it attaching to the top of the lower arm.

Thanks again Cleon.
I will look at it again and see if that narrows it down for me. I guess it is time for a manual

Best to have your own manual, but this works.

Quick thank you again to those that offered input to my question about the hood hinge springs.
I was able to get the springs installed and they actually work. Hood stays up on its own.
The install wasn't terrible either; of course my son is stronger than heck and he pulled them down and hooked them.
On to the next project!
