I have a 502 out of a boat that I bought. I pulled the heads and pan and all looks good. This was the 461 HP HO. It looks from my studying the bottom end is plenty tough. I would like a little more compression ratio. Would you guys look a different pistons or just replace the heads. Also what cam would you suggest. The motor is going in a 55 Chevy gasser project. It won’t be racing but I would like it to sound tough and be driveable.

I’m digging the chop. Did a double take as the jet trim looked off for a second. Then I actually ready your handle. That looks great.

Was going to add, if you were planning to race, a set of Chassis Works bars would be in order.
