Anyone ever use the dash and tail light harness from Ecklers, made by Lectric Limited?

No, but I would consider American Autowire. Donny is here on this site, a supporting advertiser, and a great guy. He will help you work through any problems that come up.
I realize that Eckler's is an advertiser here as well, but I doubt that Eckler's has that kind of support.

I triple the motion. I have replaced every harness on my 62 with AAW. Top notch form, fit and function.

If you look up Lectric company they are a USA company, on there web site.

Ecklers has been selling American Autowire wiring on their site(I bought some on sale about 3 years ago). I note that they do not list who the wiring harnesses are from, so maybe they switched ??

Cars Inc in Michigan currently has a holiday sale 10 % off until Jan 5th. I am almost certain they sell American Autowire Harnesses which is what I use. I bought Power window wiring harnesses from them last year.

I checked with a 10 % discount compared to Ecklers at 10 % off (assuming Cars Inc wiring is included in the 10 % sale). The Cars Inc wiring (American Autowire ) is a better price when comparing some 62 wiring harnesses.
In fact the 62 underdash wiring from Ecklers is listed as no discount (for a example)

What year car? Do you have their printed catalog? Their website sucks. They may have them cataloged under a different number. Give them a call.

Their 1958 to 1972 catalog has 7 pages(1958 to 1970) with part numbers for wiring harnesses that match the various factory harnesses.
They do not use the American Autowire part numbers on their part numbers from the ones I purchased.

Some examples:
62 under dash harness (stick) - # 10606
63 under dash (stick) # 10608
62 front light harness (generator) #10728
63 front light harness (alternator ) # 10730

The full harness from eckler's is $662. the same harness from American Autowire is $629. Discount for CT members is either 10 or 20%. At 10%, that is $62 bucks off of a cheaper price to start with. That brings it down to $566.

I am confused as to the reason for buying an American Autowire harness from a third party vendor when Donny gives a discount off of the listed price for CT members?

Just don't make no sense to me. I believe in loyalty, and having spent a lot of time on the phone with Donny, I would never buy from a third party, even though they are selling you a product from AAW.

My two pennies, and I am stepping down from my soapbox.

Griff

Again, feel free to ignore anything I say.

I was told bu AAW that there are no discounts by them for members or anyone else. I asked.

Here is their answer:

Unfortunately not. As we are the manufacturer, it is frowned upon by some when we discount things to the public. Get with you favorite parts supplier as most will discount own products. They are also available on ebay, amazon, etc. at a discount.

Donny
