That doesn't look like mine at all. Mine has a round surffice where it meets the under side of the trunk.

Here is the correct weatherstrip for 61 to 64 Chevys from Cars Inc. (I am sure this weatherstrip is Soft Seal weatherstrip.
I also attached a picture of the weatherstrip on my 62 Impala (its Soft Seal)

Thanks Paul, this weatherstripping was for a 67 or 69 Csmaro trunk that didn’t get used so they let me have it. I wasn’t sure if they used the same but it looks like it.

I guess I need to buy a new piece mine don't look nothing like theses do. It leaks a little if left in the rain also. It seldom see the rain though.

I buy all my stuff from Steele Rubber. Here is the link to their truck weather stripping. They tend to be a bit more expensive than some of the other places but their products are great.
