I bought a running s10 for 250$ and I am having trouble with ther wiring. Near thunde bottom of the column there are a rainbow of wires a black one is just hanging there with a weird plug on it. My symptoms are no turn signals and no brake lights. I replaced brake light switch, turn signal relay and nothing. Wish I could or knew how to post a picture. This is my first project truck thanks

Wow, big project. Welcome to the site. Email me the pic. I'll post it for you. Does it have any power equipment? Like locks or windows? Security? I'm not familiar with wiring on a 91. Did you replace the switch at the steering column? Do rear lights come on?
