What do I have to change to make the above happen. Linkage I know and that is available at several places (I have a console shifter). Trans crossmember? Drive shaft? cooling lines? etc...

If you get a short TH350 (about 27"-28" overall length), the length, output shaft splines and mount location are the same, so no driveshaft or crossmember mods are needed. Cooling lines are a maybe if you can't re-bend the existing ones to fit. Don't forget to include the TV cable with the shift linkage.

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.
