Just wanted to post results from a polishing job on a very rough instrument cluster lens.

This lens was in a convertible so it was very cloudy and scratched and appeared a lost cause. Had to be sanded and polished on both sides. After much wet sanding and polishing with various grits and pads, it came out very nice.

A friend did it for me because he had all the supplies from a recent headlight polishing job.

Anyway, these are impossible to find reproductions or NOS so if anyone has a similar issue, it can be done!

When you start the process the end seems a long way off. Cramped fingers sore muscles, deep scratches, but keep changing the grit level to achieve that clear look.
Did mine in about 4 stages as I wasn't in a hurry and have an extra cluster.
