I am pulling the 327 from my Vega to put in my '55 with stock mounts. The motor has a Moroso #20230 deep sump oil pan made for Vega. Does anyone know if this will fit in the '55?

Looking at the dimensions of the sump on the Summit site, I say no, the deep part of the pan is too long - it's going to hit the steering link. You need for the deep part of the sump to be 6-7" long, not 8"+.

Larry ,

Question for you do you have a set of upper and lower control arms for a 55 56 0r 57 available. I have acquired a 56 sedan delivery that someone started to turn in to a 4x4.. any how it could be the worst set you have I just need something to get it back on suspension I can turn it and a Chevy lug pattern. so I can get wheels on it. Eventually it will end up with improved suspension just not sure what route we are going.
