Hey fellas I'm David and my problem is with my '09 cobalt. Reverse works fine it's when I shift to drive that it starts slowly thru first and second when it hits 3rd and 4th it flies like an eagle. I just put a new throttle body on because I took the car to a transmission guy and he plugged his snap on scanner to the obd and seen the throttle position sensor was bad. Well being you can't get the sensor by itself I got the throttle body. When he plugged the scanner into the obd the TPS showed a climb and then fell to around 24. Also when I replaced the throttle body I had the positive side of the battery disconnected.im read for c-4 at this point. Thanks bowtie brothers for any advice or information as to help resolve this issue.

Confusing post, it dies in 1 st and second?, at the same throttle setting when it feels better in higher gears. Have you had any time for the pcm to relearn its settings, this can happen when disconnecting the battery. When you say the tps dropped to 24, what does that represent, percent of opening? Is this drive by wire!
