Greetings All:
1984 Vette. Advice needed for a good sealing valve cover
Gasket? Also, any tricks to seal good? Last question .
Can we replace Valve Cover bolts with studs and nuts to make install easier? As always, Thanks for your input.

PERSONALLY I LIKE CORK GASKETS & PERMATEX #2.I PUT THE GASKET ON THE VALVE COVER 1ST & LET IT SET UP OVERNIGHT.BOTTOM I PUT IT ON B4 I PUT THE COVER ON THE HEAD.
IF YOU CAN GET A STRAIT DROP ON THE STUDS I WOULD USE THEM.OR JUST 2 TO GET IT LINED UP 1 TOP 1 BOTTOM.x PATERN TO TIGHTEN UP,A LITTLE AT A TIME,DONT OVERDO IT.
